Ackerman
Awarded ScholarshipAmanda Ackerman (07BEnV) has been selected to receive a scholarship from the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association.
A&WMA grants several scholarships each year as a way to support future environmental leaders in research, teaching, engineering, and environmental practice. During the past decade, the Association has awarded more than 70 scholarships totaling over $260,000 to promising environmental students.
Under the advisorship of Prof. Herb Allen, Ackerman is conducting an undergraduate research project on contamination of soils by metals in mine tailings.
