Engineering Student Selected for Graduate Research Fellowship

Yinan Qi, a graduate student under the advisement of Dr. Steve Dentel, has been selected to receive a Graduate Research Fellowship from the University of Delaware Institute of Soil and Environmental Quality (ISEQ). The two-year award provides an annual stipend and the opportunity to "develop an outstanding research program in an area of interest that is related to soil and environmental quality."
The ISEQ is dedicated to providing science-based solutions to the many environmental problems involving soil resources. Qi's research will focus on determining whether fecal coliform densities increase after biosolids processing.
