Chui and Colleagues in the News

Associate Professor Pei Chiu and two colleagues, Yan Jin of the Department of Plant & Soil Sciences and Kali Kniel of the Department of Animal & Food Sciences, were featured in a February 27th United Press International story.

The three are credited with developing a new means to remove harmful microorganisms from drinking water, including viruses.

Stories on the research are also planned by National Public Radio and Art Fennell Reports on Comcast CN8. In addition, a UD press release on their work has received much attention and has appeared on many web sites, including Innovations Report, Water and Wastewater, Water Online, Biology News Net, Water Technology Online and Earthtimes.
