Undergraduate Program

With the establishment of a Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Environmental Engineering in 1995, we became one of the first universities nationwide to offer this degree, and the first environmental engineering undergraduate program in this area of the country. The enrollment has averaged between 15 and 20 students in each academic class. For more information, visit our information pages about
environmental engineering and the undergraduate program. If you are a prospective student wishing to join our program, please go to the university's apply page for application and admission information.

Within the Environmental Engineering curriculum, students have the option for four areas of concentration. The curriculum for each concentration can be viewed at the following link. Students also have the option of fulfilling a minor in environmental engineering.

Computer-aided Active Learning Classrooms are available for students. These computer classrooms are explicitly designed to facilitate both teamwork among students and faculty/student interaction, which are characteristic

Many students pursue the opportunity of
undergraduate research. If you are interested in research, first search the undergraduate research website for current faculty projects. Examples of past research projects can be found under our research page.

There are also many university opportunities outside of the engineering department. Student life and activities can be explored here.
