Student Employment Opportunity

The Delaware Center for Transportation and the Technology Transfer Center are starting a new program for Delaware's towns and cities. The Safety Circuit Rider Program will (1) assist local officials to identify high accident rate locations and low-cost, effective solutions, and (2) help municipalities become compliant with the transportation requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We will be making field visits, meeting with municipal officials, analyzing problems and issues, and preparing recommendations for local officials. Civil engineering students will work with us under the supervision of a professional engineer. The students will have "real-world" experiences that will complement their academic courses.

The pay rate will be $12 per hour. Work schedules will be flexible and will be determined by the students' course load and the number of projects we are doing at any given time.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please make an appointment with Mr. Larry Klepner via email at lklepner@ce.udel.edu or in 355 DuPont Hall.

Please bring an up-to-date resume with you.
