Class Policies: Homework Policies:
  • All work submitted must be in an organized format meeting professional standards for quality and appearance. Assignments should be completed in pencil on engineering paper or typed. Assignments with multiple pages must be stapled. Any assignments not complying with these standards will be returned without being graded.
  • Homework is due at the beginning of class on the scheduled due date. Late homeworks will not be accepted. Your lowest homework grade will be dropped.
  • Homework solutions will be posted on the web site for the class.

Out-of-class Communications:

  • The course instructor and teaching assistants will be available during weekly office hours to discuss course-related (and other relevant) issues. Students are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities. Email correspondence will be addressed as time permits during office hours.

Class Attendance:

  • Attendance and active participation are expected.
Academic Honesty Statement: All students must be honest and forthright in their academic studies. To falsify the results of one's research, to steal the words or ideas of another, to cheat on an assignment, or to allow or assist another to commit these acts corrupts the educational process. Students are expected to do their own work and neither give nor receive unauthorized assistance. Any violation of this standard must be reported to the Office of Judicial Affairs.

For more information about the University's academic honesty policy, see the Code of Conduct at the University's Judicial Affairs web site at http://www.udel.edu/judicialaffairs/
