Social Activities

REU students will have access to a broad range of optional social activities enjoyed by the undergraduate research community on the UD campus during the summer, such as the following:

• Picnics
  
  
• Intramural sports such as softball and volleyball
  
  
• Trips to the local metropolitan cities (New York, Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia)
  
  
• Trips to the Delaware beaches and the Wilmington Blue Rocks AAA professional baseball games

Access to these programs allows the students to interact with a larger community of students and to explore the Northeast Corridor.
