Research Cooperation

The purpose of the Center for Innovative Bridge Engineering is to provide a research and education environment for the solution of important problems in bridge engineering.

The PPBE participates by

• helping to define significant problems in the area,
• suggesting solution strategies, and
• providing resources to enable the Center to find solutions to these problems.

Partners are offered

• direct access to the Center's researchers and research results
• an annual research symposium that will present the research results of the Center and provide a vehicle for Partners to present problems for future work
• an annual report that highlights important research results
• other publications by the members of the Center that will document research findings
• facilities- and equipment-sharing opportunities
