The Center for Innovative Bridge Engineering
at the University of Delaware

Goals

The Center is housed within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. It is governed by a director and an advisory committee that includes the director and four faculty members, one of whom is from outside the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

The Center is a multidisciplinary enterprise that draws together faculty from several academic units of the University of Delaware, including the departments of Mechnical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Electrical and Computer Engineering; the College of Marine Studies; and the College of Arts and Science.

In addition, to create a regional and national presence, the Center invites faculty from programs throughout the country to become members. Anyone wishing to become an affiliate of the Center should contact the director or the Research Administrator.
