Terry
F. Neimeyer (BCE1977) has been elected to the board of the U.S.
Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest business federation.
The organization represents more than three million businesses
of all sizes, sectors, and regions of the country. Neimeyer also
received honorable mention in "Maryland's 25 CEOs You Need
to Know," a special supplement published by the Gazette
of Politics and Business in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Neimeyer,
who is Chairman, President, and CEO of KCI Technologies, Inc.,
graduated with honors from UD in 1977; he earned a masters
degree in environmental engineering from The Johns Hopkins University
in 1980 and a masters degree in business administration
from Wilmington College in 1985.
Neimeyer
has served many professional organizations at the local, regional,
and national levels. He recently completed a term as Chairman
of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. Neimeyer was elected to the
UD Alumni Wall of Fame in 2005, and he received the College of
Engineering Outstanding Alumni Award in 2000.
