The UDUTC supports a multidisciplinary program of research focusing on four areas: Planning, Ecology and the Environment, Infrastructure Renewal, and Operations and Management. Our Current Research page features summaries of ongoing UDUTC research projects.

Any faculty member or researcher conducting research in an area of interest to the UDUTC is eligible to apply for funding. Research is evaluated for funding by a Project Selection Committee on an annual basis according to criteria established by the UTC.
