DCT and UTC Brown Bag Discussion:
Writing and Submitting Research Proposals

Noon – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2007
302 DuPont Hall
Cookies and drinks will be provided

Each year, the Delaware Center for Transportation (DCT) and the University of Delaware University Transportation Center (UDUTC) invite researchers from all units on campus to submit proposals.  The brown-bag discussion will focus on the proposal submission process and provide tips for submitting a winning proposal.

The DCT annual program is supported by the Delaware Department of Transportation. Examples of DCT projects can be found at http://www.ce.udel.edu/dct/research/research.htm.

The UDUTC supports a multidisciplinary program of research focusing on four areas: Planning, Ecology and the Environment, Infrastructure Renewal, and Operations and Management.  Any faculty or staff member conducting research in an area of interest to the UDUTC is eligible to apply for funding.  More information can be found at http://www.ce.udel.edu/UTC/Research.html
